Cocoa shells, the perfect manure for flowers
Widely used by professional landscaping, cocoa shell mulch is a great fertilizer for seasonal ornamental
plants and gardening.
Very esthetic and agronomic features incomparable, it is the perfect mulch for all plants in the garden and also
for balconies and terraces.
The shell of cocoa reduces the hoeing, limits weed growth, encourages microbial activity and involves root development roots and the growth of plants. It enriches the soil naturally.
Characteristics of Cocoa shells:
- The shell of cocoa has nutritional value equivalent to that of the dung. The large presence of micronutrient ensures optimal growth and flowering.
- The manure provides organic matter and lightens soil. This organic mulch enriches and restructures the soil naturally.
- The shell of cocoa has a capacity for yielding thus highlighting the contrast of green leaves and colorful flowers.
- Weeding is reduced around 80% when the product is used on a clean ground and on a well plowed soil. The soil remains soft and the few remaining herbs are easily snapped.
- Use of cocoa shells reduces the watering around 25-30%.

Mode of use
Before applying the cocoa shells, it is essential to have realized the plantations.
Apply a layer about 4-5 cm thick and pour water so that the shells stick together and form a protective layer
permeable to water, air and fertilizer.
A few days later, a thin white film will appear, indicating that the mulch is effective. 6 months later, mix the mulch to the soil to fertilize more
and repeat every year.
